Read Comics Online: How Does the Comixology Guided View Looks Like

What is comiXology’s Guided View™ technology?
ComiXology’s patent-pending Guided View™ technology allows readers to view a comic on a panel-by-panel basis suitable for mobile devices in a way that mimics the natural motion of the user’s eye through the comic.

Most of the time, when I read the physical copy, I end up flipping through the pages way too fast. I would prefer to enjoy the artwork first before going through the story. There are pros and cons, but more cons at the moment like if there’s an inter-page spoiler then I would know it already when I restart to read it. Going through panel by panel help me to focus on the art and story at the same time.

Personally, I love it.

This video covers a few things into one:

  • It shows you how to download free comics from Comixology.
  • It shows you how reading comics online looks like and how easy it is to access your content.
  • And finally the difference between using the guided view and without.

The video was recorded using a Samsung Galaxy Note III phablet. Yes, the phone is already 2 years plus, but it is still worth keeping and way much better than Note II. The video, however, does not show how to download the Apps from Google Play and how to register an account at Comixology.

I think you can do it on your own.
