After the Secret invasion, Tony Stark was stripped of his oles as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D and the Avengers, and Norman Osborn, the former villain Green Goblin, was given the reins. He immediately formed his own team of Avengers (the Dark Avengers), recreated himself as the Iron Patriot and assembled his own task force, H.A.M.M.E.R. You know the drill, and I have been really behind in this, thanks to the never ending work at office, but I think I will stop reviewing back issues … catch up with the latest issues and only review the latest one.
The last three issue’s reveal about how the new team was brought together and this issue firmly put everything in place and firmly cements them as the legitimate Mighty Avengers. They are around the globe on a series of adventures to ‘save the world’. They are in Buesnos Aires, Tokyo’s Akibara District and France. One place at a time, in split seconds, through the PymPocket.
Story wise, it’s something fresh from Dan Slott while the art is so .. so ..
Things are looking up for Mighty Avengers, and I think I am going to like them. Even the Global Reaction Agency, G.R.A.M.P.A .. hah!, wants to deputize them so that the Avengers could have clearance in every country without Osborn. I have already dump the Dark Avengers title and only buying that when I feel like to.
