game-of-the-year
For the first time ever, you can help to decide who wins. For game of the year, I voted for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 even though I have not played it yet. Voted based on the games trailer … Ha!

Anyway, Batman: Arkham Asylum, could pull a surprise. It received nomination in seven categories.

Winners will be announced live on Dec 12, 2009. The event will include exclusive content and announcements from top gaming companies including 2K, Activision, Disney Interactive Studios, Electronic Arts, LucasArts Entertainment, Microsoft Game Studios, THQ, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Among the sneak peeks is a first look at video from the opening of the upcoming Halo: Reach prequel game, coming next fall for Xbox 360 from developer Bungie and Microsoft Game Studios.

[Update: 15 Jan 2010] And the award for 2009 Game of the year goes to – Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

One thing that has been revealed is what the creature that is kidnapping the little girls is: it is a Big Sister, unlike the bulky and dumb Big Daddies of the original Bioshock. The Big Sister has a very slim suit, is very fast and agile, is over 2 metres in height and is highly intelligent.
