Now that you have read on how to get gold for free in Travian, it’s time to tell you how to use your gold effectively. If you go to the Travian Plus page in (search for Travian Plus on the sidebar), you can use you gold for a number of things i.e

• Plus Account
• +25% lumber Production: Lumber
• +25% clay Production: Clay
• +25% iron Production: Iron
• +25% crop Production: Crop
• +10% Attack value
• +10% Defence value
• Complete construction orders and researches in this village immediately (does not work for Palace and Residence).
• 1:1 Trade with the NPC merchant immediately

To maximize your gold, you should use it for these 3 things only.

• Complete construction orders and researches in this village immediately. Let say you are upgrading your Main Building to level 5. At the same time, do your researches at the Armoury and at Blacksmith. Then, go to Traviam Plus and click on the complete construction orders. For just 2 gold, your building and the two researches you are doing will be completed automatically. Cool! But remember that this will not work for Palace and Residence.
• Activate Plus Account. The main feature that i like about the Plus account is the waiting loop for constructionsthis is the que. The feature enables you to give your builders another order to raise or extend a second building. You can build/upgrade a resource and que the next building to build/upgrade. You don’t need to wait for the first to be completed to start a new one.
• 1:1 Trade with the NPC merchant. At times you will have surplus of Crop which you don’t want, but you urgently need Lumber. You can exchange it with other players at the Marketplace, but this could take some time. To speed it up, use 1:1 Trade with the NPC merchant. Let say you have 400 Lumber, 3000 Clay, 100 Iron and 5000 Crop. Total altogether is 8500. With 1:1 Trade with the NPC merchant you can allocate the total of resources evenly to 2125 Lumber, 2125 Clay, 2125 Iron and 2125 Crop or to the quantity you prefer that matches the total quantity you have.

This is best used when you are starting, in your first month, to get ahead of your competition.
