Mobile Games Download – Which Mobile Operator In Malaysia Is The Cheapest

29 June 2009 1,599 views 6 Comments

I was reading today’s newspaper earlier today and I saw an advertisement about Celcom’s advertisement on mobile games download. That advert was promoting the latest Transformers ROTF game.

Hmmm .. I wondered … out of the 3 biggest mobile operators in Malaysia (Celcom, Maxis and Digi), which company offers the cheapest price for games download. I went to their websites and wanted to compare Transformers ROTF game, but it looks like only Celcom has it. So, I looked for something that is not so new, but not so old either.

I chose Hannah Montana Secret Star. Game Description : Ordinary teen or Pop Star? Juggle the double life of Hannah/Miley right from your cell phone in Hannah Montana Secret Star! Help Hannah/Miley outdo newcomer Mikayla through a balancing act of academics, social activities, performing, fashion more.

Games information
You will get more information at Digi. All three have the game description, but Digi has more. You can find screen shots of the Hannah Montana game at Digi and also the file size. File size is quite important if you have limited memory.

Price
Digi is the cheapest at MYR6. Celcom is charging MYR7 per game download while Maxis is MYR8.

Ease of Use
You don’t need to register with Digi. Once you have selected your phone model and clicked on the download button, it will display the text message that you need to send. Celcom requires you to register before you can proceed. Maxis requires you to enter your mobile phone where it will send an sms for confirmation.

Based on the 3 above, Digi is not only the cheapest, but the most easiest to use and has more information compares to the other two.
