Role Playing Games: What Is It?
Role playing games(RPG) is a game in which a player assume the role of a fictional characters. The character, or avatar can be customized and built according to the preferences of the player.

RPGs are centered on stories which are more often than not, adventure and fictional in type. They are usually based on fantasy and mythological genres. The player have to reach a certain goal or complete a mission in order to advance further into the game. Of course, those playing will try to make the character victorious with each challenge it faces.

He determines the actions of his character. The character will grow in power and abilities as he explores the game world, completing quest by solving puzzle or engaging in tactical combat. Some of these involve chasing off dragons, fighting monsters, evil wizards and even saving damsels in distress. The outcomes of these games are dependent on the characters strengths, characteristic, skills and choices he made.
