I have not finish watching the set i bought earlier, but the new Macross series, Macross Frontier is already out and currently showing in Japan.
I have watched the first 7 episodes. The anime is mix of mecha battles, romantic drama and it seems to emphasize a lot on songs. The same elements as the original Macross. Even the first few episodes seems similar to the original. Comparing it with the old Robotech, Macross Frontier has been given a total facelift. Last year’s most anticipated movie (for me) was non other than Transformers. I am a comic collector, especially from Marvel and DC, and when there’s an adaptation I will try not to miss.
