2 Reasons To Get Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Yes, the Master Chief Collection is finally on PC and it is available now on Steam.
Reason No 1 to Get Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Halo is the face of Xbox. It is iconic and synonymous with Xbox. It is still Microsoft’s most popular exclusive game. In both how well it sells and how well it retains players.
Reason No 2 to Get Halo: The Master Chief Collection
It’s never going to be on PS4, but now the whole Master Chief Collection will be on PC starting with Halo: Reach. And it’s cheap. PlayStation fans whose dying to play this exclusive but could not afford to maintain another console should not miss this.
Another reason, although I only said 2 in the title is – It is better playing Halo MCC on PC than playing with your Halo Mega Bloks 😀
What’s In The Package
Halo: The Master Chief Collection Includes 7 items:
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection
- Halo: Reach
- Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
- Halo 2: Anniversary
- Halo 3
- Halo 3: ODST
- Halo 4
The MCC is already available on Steam which includes Halo: Reach and will automatically update with the remaining titles as they launch. You can also get Halo: Reach individually as a standalone but it will still install the MCC shell as a launcher. If you purchase the standalone, of course, it will not auto-update the other titles.
Kotaku wrote in Dec 2019 that Halo: Reach becomes the third most-played game on Steam. With over 100,000 people playing at the same time making it one of the top five games on Valve’s storefront.
However, since then the player base took a sharp decline. According to SteamCharts :
